A beautiful hollow form vessel turned by MH Woodturning made from a neighbor’s Elm Tree. The vessel is approximately 4.5” tall and 5” in diameter at its widest point. Small cracks while turning and those were filled with crushed turquoise before the final turning. This finished with shellac, before using an ultrafine sanding past to bring out the shine.
Excellent decorative piece.
As with most hollow forms, the inside is not finished or sealed so it is not suitable as a wet flower vase.
